A deep journey through the lens of a young Tunisian immigrant, witnessing and capturing the city of Montreal through glimpses of its inhabitants. Imbuing them with his own thoughts, memories and inquiries on Art and Cinema. In the form of a semi-biographical visual poem, Taher Gargouri combines four years of “fleeting” footage with the fading but famed voices of Serge Reggiani, D’jibril Diop Mambety or Nawal Saadawi, Antonin Artaud to create a reflection on the process of creativity, how it confronts institutional powers through dissidence, hence rising to a revolution.
