The Peculiar Pair

Synopsis

Two mismatched women over 40 meet and the development of their relationship. Waynetta lives alone in Didsbury, Manchester in a flat left to her by her late Nan, she suffers from agoraphobia and doesn’t ever go into the outside world as it terrifies her. Joanie is the opposite, she’s worldly, out of yet another terrible relationship and now homeless. This story promises a tale that everyone over the age of 18 can relate to about mental health, homelessness, relationships, sexuality and our need to not live this life alone. English, northern humor is cleverly used to broach these subjects in a non threatening way.
