Day To Day I Am Fighting To Stay Alive short film

An embodied and creative response to an interview between Emma, Charlotte and a UK Veteran; who has a diagnosis of combat related PTSD. Through the use of movement, spoken words, music and the camera, the artists involved have created a dance film that shares this veteran’s tale of his struggles and hardships whilst living with PTSD and trying adjust to a “normal” everyday life. We hope this film helps to highlight the hidden war that is being fought by so many serving armed forces members and veterans when they return home from combat. Though their scars may not be visible, this does not mean they are unharmed or unhurt.
